Sourced from markets and second-hand shops in the city of Rome, The Pewter Thimble is all about small business circularity. Every object or image is hand-selected by a professional thrift shopper (Lonely Planet certified!).

When you check out, you’ll be able to specify whether you’re an International customer requiring shipping, or whether you’ll pick your item(s) up in Rome.
Check out, and expect an email with the details of your purchase! Downloadable items will be available immediately.

(Please note: it all sounds very scary and official but the reality is we’re going to communicate and I’m going to work with you to get your vintage treasures to their new home.)
All sales are final. If an error has been made on my side, please reach out.
Although I do not engage in shipping vintage objects multiple times across our burning planet, I do believe in making good with humans. Give me a chance to make it right if I’ve made an error.
No refunds are given on PDF items. It is impossible to take back what has been digitally given. If you are unhappy for any reason, reach out and let’s chat.
The Pewter Thimble is an eco-conscious company and aims to use recycled packaging materials as often as possible. What may appear a little funky on the outside does not reflect carelessness, but cleverness in reusing materials. Please reuse any packaging materials possible again and again before recycling.
International Customers:
Shipping goes out once a week, Economy International.
All customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
All import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
Delays due to the customs regulations in your country unfortunately are out of my control.
Rome Customers:
Pickup location is Piazza San Giovanni on Friday afternoons for all orders placed by 9am on Thursdays. If you choose this, I’ll be in touch Thursday afternoon with more detail. Orders placed after 9am on Thursdays will be available the following Friday.
Alternatively, Glovo delivery can be arranged to your front door on a day you are home to receive it. Cost depends on your location; prices generally range from €8-€18. If you’d like to set that up, please contact us.

We use PayPal to process payments. You can opt to check out using your PayPal account (select “PayPal” during checkout), or with a major credit card, no PayPal account necessary (select “Credit/Debit” during checkout).
(If you choose Credit/Debit, you’ll be able to create a PayPal account during the checkout process if you like, but that’s very much optional.)
