Vintage Map of Italy by region, 1951, COLORFUL, A1 poster size PDF
Distributed by a print shop in Rome, its original purpose was to exhibit and encourage economic growth in post-war Italy. This map marks important towns and cities with colorful illustrations depicting popular dress, pastimes, and cultural customs.
Highlights of this illustrated map include:
- rainbow colored landscape surrounded by a dramatic black seascape and muted borderlands
- illustrations of regional coats of arms marking regions
- ornate compass rose in lower left-hand corner

No refunds are given on PDF items. It is impossible to take back what has been digitally given. If you are unhappy for any reason, reach out and let’s chat.
The Pewter Thimble is an eco-conscious company and aims to use recycled packaging materials as often as possible. What may appear a little funky on the outside does not reflect carelessness, butcleverness in reusing materials. Please reuse any packaging materials possible again and again before recycling.
International Customers:
- Shipping goes out once a week, Economy International.
- All customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
- All import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
- Delays due to the customs regulations in your country unfortunately are out of my control.
Rome Customers:
- Pickup location is The Beehive Hostel on via Marghera, 8 (near Termini) on Friday afternoons for all orders placed by 9am Thursday mornings. Orders placed after 9am on Thursdays will be available the following Friday.
- Alternatively, Glovo delivery can be arranged to your front door on a day you are home to receive it. Cost depends on your location; prices generally range from €8-€18. If you’d like to set that up, please contact us.
